Automate provisioning and deprovisioning of clusters and nodes to optimize deployment. Policy Development & Documentation: Develop cluster management policies for access groups, certificates, logging, alerting, and storage. Document migration processes, highlighting repeatable patterns and automation opportunities. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Mentor engineers on Ansible playbooks and automated tools. Conduct hands-on training during initial migration waves and iterative sessions for skill enhancement. Automation Workflow Development: Create and execute Ansible workflows for provisioning, cluster validation, and pre/post-migration tasks. Automate pre-flight and post-migration validation checks for improved efficiency. Advanced Tool Integration: Leverage tools like Prometheus and Grafana for migration monitoring. Implement automated rollback mechanisms triggered by failure criteria. Continuous Improvement: Refine Ansible playbooks, automate scripts for checks, and improve migration throughput. Analyze daily metrics (speed, errors, outage times) to address bottlenecks and optimize processes. Required Qualifications: Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and automation using Ansible playbooks. Experience with GitOps practices and tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Strong knowledge of RH Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL) and cluster management policies. Proven ability to document technical processes and mentor engineering teams.
