1.

Customization and Configuration

a.

Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex,
Visualforce, and Lightning components.

b.

Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules,
Lightnings Flows, reports, and dashboards.

2.

Integration

a.

Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, web
services, and third-party tools (e.g., MuleSoft).

b.

Work with REST and SOAP web services to integrate data.

c.

Troubleshooting and debugging

a.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce
applications.

b.

Perform unit testing, code reviews, and manage deployments in a
sandbox or production environment.

4.

Apex & Visualforce Development

a.

Write custom business logic in Apex and create custom pages with
Visualforce.

b.

Build and deploy Lightning Components (Aura and LWC).

5.

Data Management-

a.

Perform data migration, data import/export, and data cleansing
tasks.

b.

Use tools like Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or third-party
tools for data management.

6.

Collaboration

a.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts,
project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver
solutions.

b.

Assist in providing technical solutions based on business needs.

7.

Salesforce Best Practices

a.

Follow Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and security
guidelines.

b.

Ensure code is optimized for performance and scalability.

8.

Continuous Improvement

a.

Stay updated with new Salesforce releases and features.

b.

Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to Salesforce
processes, architecture, and features.

9.

Certifications (must have)

a.

Salesforce Platform Developer I.

b.

Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201).

c.

ServiceMax 101 (good to have).  

10.

Experience - 5-10 years of experience working with Salesforce
development, including both declarative and programmatic features. - Previous
experience with Salesforce Lightning is highly preferred.

11.

Soft Skills:

a.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams
and clients.

b.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.

12.

Tools Knowledge of Salesforce DX, Changeset, Git, Jira, Jenkins,
and other development tools.

13.

Knowledge of ServiceMax managed package would be an added
advantage.
