This role requires a deep understanding of NetSuite's Financials module, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with finance teams. The consultant will focus on addressing system usage issues, driving process improvements, and empowering financial leaders to leverage the full potential of NetSuite. Responsibilities: NetSuite System Analysis and Optimization: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the client's current NetSuite Financials configuration, identifying areas for improvement in system usage, functionality, and process efficiency. Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes related to Purchase Orders (PO), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR), recommending and implementing streamlined workflows within NetSuite. AR Reconciliation Expertise: Lead discussions with finance leaders to understand and address specific AR reconciliation challenges, including the inability to modify the system to meet their evolving needs. Develop and implement solutions within NetSuite to resolve these issues. Solution Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and test NetSuite solutions to address identified gaps and improve financial processes. This may include customizations, workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards. User Training and Support: Provide training and support to finance users on best practices for using NetSuite Financials, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system's capabilities. On-site Collaboration: Work closely with the client's finance team on-site, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of system configurations, processes, and user training materials. Project Management: Contribute to project planning, tracking, and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Stay Current: Remain up-to-date on the latest NetSuite releases, features, and best practices. Qualifications: Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting NetSuite Financials. NetSuite Expertise: Deep understanding of NetSuite's Financials module, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Reporting. Business Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of core financial business processes, including PO, AP, and AR. AR Reconciliation Proficiency: Proven experience in addressing and resolving complex AR reconciliation issues within NetSuite. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions. Location: Preference for candidates located in or near Raleigh, NC, to facilitate on-site collaboration. Travel to client site will be required if not local. Certifications (Preferred): NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification or other relevant NetSuite certifications.
