This position involves a unique hybrid role encompassing responsibilities within MDOS Elections, Financial, and Legal departments. This pivotal role involves both Infrastructure and Application Architect duties, with leadership over Business Analyst efforts, in alignment with the State of Michigans Project Management Methodology (PMM) and Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM). What you'll be doing Analyze, design, and recommend architecture solutions for web, mobile, and legacy applications while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Lead and coordinate development efforts, including guiding developers, overseeing Business Analyst activities, and aligning with project management methodologies. Evaluate and enhance business processes, hardware, and software, including strategic planning, cost modeling, and system upgrades. Integrate vendor technologies, develop solution architectures, and unify diverse systems into manageable environments. Stay updated on market trends, prepare technical documentation, and support implementation processes. Technical Skills Proficiency in C# (10+ years). Experience with SQL Server (5+ years). Familiarity with message queueing technologies, such as Redis or RabbitMQ (3+ years desired). Knowledge of Azure technologies (3+ years desired). Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB (2+ years desired). Experience 10+ years of experience in software development. 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. 3+ years of experience using cloud providers like Azure or AWS. 3+ years of experience managing applications with container orchestration tools. 3+ years of experience configuring cache/message queuing with Redis or RabbitMQ.
