Position: Azure Data Platform Administrator Location: Minneapolis, MN(Hybrid) Duration: 12+ months We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Administrator to join our team. As a Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our data platform, including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and Purview. Responsibilities: * Platform Administration: * Manage and maintain Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and virtual networks. * Configure and administer Databricks workspaces, clusters, and notebooks. * Manage Snowflake accounts, databases, warehouses, and users. * Administer Purview data catalog and metadata management. * Performance Optimization: * Monitor platform performance and identify bottlenecks. * Optimize query performance in Databricks and Snowflake. * Tune system configurations for optimal resource utilization. * Security and Compliance: * Implement security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scanning. * Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations. * Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents. * Backup and Recovery: * Implement robust backup and recovery procedures for the platform. * Test recovery plans to ensure business continuity. * User Management: * Manage user accounts and permissions. * Provide user support and troubleshooting.
