No GC or GC EAD. Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Java Developer/Fullstack Developer with proven experience in enterprise-level software development to join our team in Livingston, NJ. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week onsite. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance Java-based applications and cloud-ready systems, working with both legacy and modern technologies. This role offers the potential for conversion to a full-time employee after the contract period. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance Java-based applications for enterprise-level systems. Work with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) for the deployment, monitoring, and management of applications. Apply problem-solving skills to tackle complex software engineering challenges and deliver results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Design and implement modular systems and codebases to support scalability, maintainability, and reuse across multiple projects. Develop RESTful APIs for system integration and third-party communication. Optimize API performance and ensure seamless integration with backend systems. Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries for both relational and NoSQL databases. Work with UI technologies like React or Angular to build robust front-end features and ensure seamless user experiences. Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. What We Need: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology. Equivalent experience in enterprise software development is also acceptable. 7+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8/17), with strong expertise in Spring Boot for building microservices-based architecture. Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) for deploying and managing cloud-based applications. Demonstrated experience in managing complex software projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within scope. Strong experience in designing scalable, maintainable systems and components through modularization. Knowledge and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, and the ability to write optimized queries. Experience with UI technologies such as React or Angular. Hands-on experience in building and deploying RESTful APIs and managing API integrations. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, delivering high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
