The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, including experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and database management systems. The role will involve working with large datasets to support business needs, and you will collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is reliable and easily accessible for analytics. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Work with data integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark, Hadoop). Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses. Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data analysis purposes. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and availability for analytics. Build and maintain data models, data marts, and data warehouses to support business intelligence initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, availability, and performance. Work with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to manage and optimize data storage and processing. Required Qualifications: Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for data processing and storage. Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Ability to design and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability. Experience with data integration, ETL tools, and data warehousing solutions. Strong understanding of data modeling and database architecture.
