You will leverage your deep expertise in Spark to build scalable and efficient data pipelines for large-scale data processing. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, and Cloud Storage. Utilize Spark for complex data transformations and large-scale data processing tasks. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to define data requirements and design data solutions. Implement data quality checks and ensure data governance principles are followed. Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP and Spark technologies and best practices. Automate data engineering tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including experience with BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, and Cloud Storage. Proven experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing. Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with SQL. Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
