Job: Sr. Oracle DBA w/SQL Server and WebLogic is Plus Location : Spring, TX Onsite Duration: Long Term Contract 10+Years of Experience and Passport number is must to submit. Job Description: Seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with strong SQL Server expertise to join our team. This role is integral to building and developing the database environment for the carve-out and ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of the database systems. Candidates with WebLogic experience will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Oracle and SQL Server database systems to support the carve-out environment. Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Develop and maintain database scripts, procedures, and related documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions aligned with project goals. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for database systems. Monitor database systems for performance and capacity, addressing issues proactively. Support database migrations, upgrades, and patches as required. Leverage WebLogic expertise (if applicable) to support application server environments. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with expertise in SQL Server database administration. Hands-on experience in database architecture, backup/recovery, and high availability solutions. Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting. Experience with database migrations and working in carve-out or similar transitional projects is a plus. Familiarity with WebLogic application server administration is a strong advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
