Role: Android Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA 3 days/week in the office (Need Local) Duration: 12 month contract Interview: Phone then Video Visa: USC / GC Only Local candidates only- must send documentation with name/address Call notes: Adding new features, maintenance, working on set of new features and expanding functionality of application - critical projects for the applications, support and maintenance (not developing and new app from scratch, they have a bunch of application in production so will be working on same application) Android Native Development Consumer facing application experience needed Large scale environment experience needed financial industry exp a plus 5+ years large scale Android development experience Kotlin and Coroutines both are critical and required SDK: Minimum version they support is 29 and latest version is 34 - working towards supporting 35 (do not expect exp with this) which version they have exp with is not important need to be open to supporting multiple versions Realm or Dragger a huge plus , not a show stopper if they dont have it 2 interviews 1st round - 45 minutes (some limited coding exercise) 2nd interview 2 leads from team 90 minutes Zoom Interview (must turn on camera), programming exercise, Android/Kotlin Must be able to work independently Responsibilities Construct, enhance and troubleshoot native Android apps in an Agile, collaborative environment Implement complex new features and functionality Work closely with developers, designers and our business partners to create functional solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience developing large scale Android applications. Working experience with Kotlin and Coroutines Experience with MVVM and Architecture Components Hands-on experience supporting multiple versions of Android SDKs, screen resolutions and device types Exceptional Object Oriented (OO) design and development skills Experience with asynchronous programming Experience with unit and UI testing A proven track record of high productivity in application, architecture, design, coding, and debugging Experience with enterprise level branching/merging with Jenkins Understand mobile performance, latency, and security issues with extensive experience using performance analysis tools Understanding of current technological trends, developments, and best practices in the area of information security, wireless network architecture, mobile technologies, and associated concepts.
