Please make sure the LinkedIn Profiles A leading financial services company is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its growing Digital team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, contributing to the development and maintenance of QA processes for web and cross-platform applications. Position Overview The SDET will play a critical role in designing and enhancing automation frameworks, ensuring quality software releases, and collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams. This position is ideal for a candidate with a passion for test automation, software quality assurance, and agile development practices. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain automated test scripts, tools, and frameworks to validate functional and non-functional requirements. Identify and resolve software defects in collaboration with developers, ensuring seamless integration and delivery. Participate in code reviews with a focus on testability and maintainability. Develop and execute detailed test plans and cases to validate software features within each sprint. Perform manual testing as needed to meet sprint goals. Mandatory Qualifications: Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as TestCafe, Appium, webdriver.io, or Ruby/Capybara. Recent Hands on experience with Ruby on Rails and Angular. Exposure to Cypress or RSpec Demonstrated success working in fast-paced agile environments. Additional Information: Contract-to-hire potential: The role may transition to a full-time position after six months. Candidates not working in a Ruby environment will not be considered.
