Senior Network Engineer (Advanced) Work Location: Onsite, 5 days a week at Tolls Data Center, 7941 Glades Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33434 Job Overview: This Senior Network Engineer role is an onsite position with , reporting to the Security Risk Compliance Office Manager in the Information Technology Office. The position requires advanced expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures, deploying and managing routers, switches, and firewalls, and ensuring the security and performance of network environments. Key Requirements: Experience: 7 years: Hands-on with Layer 2/3 routing protocols, troubleshooting complex network issues. Deployment and management of routers and switches, including troubleshooting. Working with Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure). Unix (RedHat), Windows, VMware, and other platforms. 3 years: Vulnerability scanning tools (preferably Rapid7 Nexpose). Certifications (Required): CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional). Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Certifications (Preferred): Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA). Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE). Education: Four-year degree or equivalent professional experience. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize Layer 2/3 network protocols and infrastructure performance. Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal connectivity for campus, roadside, backbone, LAN, partner networks, and third-party connections. Review and enhance network architecture, including failover capabilities and segmentation for PCI and sensitive data protection. Utilize SolarWinds to develop dashboards for monitoring network performance and connectivity. Ensure compliance with SIEM logging, proactively deploy patches and updates, and maintain accurate infrastructure inventories. Conduct vulnerability scans to protect networks, databases, and applications. Provide support for cloud architecture design with considerations for capacity, failover, and security. Assist with cybersecurity event investigation, forensic analysis, and threat hunting. Maintain network diagrams and documentation, ensuring alignment with NIST standards and industry best practices.
