The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure (particularly AWS), automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines. This position is critical to the success of several ongoing projects, and the selected candidate will be responsible for leading the DevOps team, improving development workflows, and ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of DevOps engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability and performance. Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to streamline the software development lifecycle. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration of development and operations processes, with a strong focus on automation and performance. Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, etc.), ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-efficient architecture. Optimize and monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshooting issues proactively and providing timely resolutions. Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS. Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of logging and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana). Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance and data protection. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, mentoring junior DevOps engineers and driving efficiency across the team. Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, QA, security) to ensure successful deployment and ongoing maintenance of applications. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2-3 years in a lead or senior position. Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.) and cloud infrastructure management. Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. Proven ability to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus). Experience with DevOps automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is a plus. Solid understanding of cloud security best practices (e.g., IAM, encryption, compliance). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a distributed environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
