Job Title: HRIS UKG Application Analyst Remote HRIS, payroll, and workforce management Overview: We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant with expertise in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) solutions and a deep understanding of higher education operations. The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, and testing of a time and absence management solution tailored to the needs of a diverse campus environment. This role requires a balance of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and the ability to engage and align with stakeholders across various campus segments. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Act as the lead consultant driving the project to completion by collaborating with internal resources and managing timelines and deliverables. Solution Design: Lead the design of the time and absence management solution, focusing on accruals, leave balances, and time tracking for both exempt and non-exempt personnel. Configuration and Testing: Configure UKG modules to meet business requirements and oversee system testing to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with project goals. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with staff, faculty, students, adjunct faculty, and administrators to gather requirements, address concerns, and gain buy-in for the new solution. Change Management: Effectively "sell" the new solution to diverse campus groups by demonstrating its value and aligning it with institutional goals. Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical teams, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the solution. Higher Education Expertise: Leverage knowledge of higher education systems and processes to align the solution with the unique needs of the campus environment. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for solution design, configuration, testing, and user training. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with expertise in UKG solutions, particularly in time and absence management. Strong understanding of higher education operations, including the dynamics of staff, faculty, students, and adjunct faculty. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives to completion. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing diverse stakeholder groups and navigating challenging personalities. Proficiency in designing and configuring solutions related to accruals, leave balances, and time tracking. Ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and deliver user training. Experience with change management and stakeholder alignment in complex organizational environments. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and workforce management processes within a higher education context. Experience managing or participating in large-scale software implementations. Certification in UKG or related modules is a plus.
