Job Title: Linux Engineer Nashville TN -Hybrid Estimated Duration 02/17/2025 - 06/30/2025 Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Linux Engineer to install, configure, and monitor Red Hat Linux environments while addressing user issues and implementing proactive security measures. The ideal candidate will have experience in Linux infrastructure management, automation, and scripting, ensuring system reliability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers. Monitor system health using manual and automated tools (Splunk, Ansible). Perform OS maintenance, upgrades, and software patching. Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools. Maintain documentation and troubleshoot system issues. Work with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with Linux OS (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.). Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl). Experience with server virtualization (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V). Knowledge of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with open-source applications like WordPress, Drupal.
