Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer (React.js, Next.js, AWS, Node.js) Contract Location: Bay Area, CA (Preferred) / Remote (PST Hours) Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable) Work Type: Contract Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 8+ years of experience in building scalable eCommerce or retail applications using React.js, Next.js (Frontend) and AWS, Node.js (Backend). The ideal candidate should be based in the Bay Area or available to support PST hours remotely. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of high-performance, scalable eCommerce applications. Architect and implement React.js and Next.js-based frontend solutions with SSR and SSG optimization. Design and develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using Node.js. Work extensively with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, ECS, etc.). Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud-based applications. Optimize application performance, SEO, and user experience for large-scale platforms. Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, best practices, and architecture discussions. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment. Requirements: Experience: 8+ years in Full Stack development, preferably in eCommerce or retail Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, Material-UI Backend: Node.js, Express.js/Nest.js, REST APIs, GraphQL Cloud & DevOps: AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, ECS, CloudFront), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Database: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) Security: OAuth, JWT, Cognito, best security practices for cloud-native applications Preferred: Experience in high-traffic, large-scale eCommerce or retail platforms. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
