(must be local to one of those locations) interview Process/Details (Video, Onsite, # of Rounds, etc.): 3 rounds. 1st with Hiring Manager. 2nd with Panel where they will dig a little deeper into tech skillsets. 3rd with VP Duration: 12+Months Visa:: No H1B, No CPT Vaccination Required: Yes The Site Reliability Engineer will leverage their software engineering background to apply DevOps and SRE principals to deploy and create new applications, integrations and services that serve to reduce manual effort and provide process improvements to existing and newly developed workflows across Enterprise IT, Broadcast, Media Fulfillment and Post Production. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Design, integrate, and provide full-stack lifecycle support for media technology applications Perform root cause analysis of production errors, identify issues, and develop solutions Assist in scoping, design, and project work estimations Own responsibility for the technical quality of our teams solutions delivery; describe architecture decisions and rationales at a detailed level to both client and internal teams Own Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery initiatives while working with other technical leads to define and maintain compliance with organizational standards Collaborate with Cyber Security and identify solutions for remediation of vulnerabilities Participate in 24/7 support by acting as an escalation point for production issues Provide mentorship and guidance to team colleagues MUST HAVES B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or commensurate experience Experience in a media environment (broadcast or production) Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the US Experience with Git, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and Jenkins Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code Ability to integrate DevOps tools into end-to-end pipelines Experience with at least one or more Object Oriented Supported Languages Familiar with public cloud (AWS and Azure) service offerings Experience integrating software test automation Excellent understanding of OS management and features (RHEL, OEL, Windows) Demonstrated grounding of cybersecurity best practices, shift left thinking Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of video transcode, encode, and decode Experience with monitoring platforms (OP5/Nagios, Datadog, Splunk) AWS or Azure certification strongly preferred Familiar with ITSM and Agile methodologies Experienced with ServiceNow and JIRA Working knowledge of Single Sign On authentication Skilled at making decisions and problem solving Ability to communicate with external customers in the resolution of support issues Flexible work schedule with ability to work after hours and weekends as required please use this exactly as is and fill in line by line (if anything is missing I will not consider the candidate) Most current resume Photo ID (license or passport) Full legal name: Address: Phone number Email address: Citizen/visa status: Availability to interview: Availability to start: Linkedin.com profile (if they do not have one, say so): Hourly rate: Is this candidate vaccinated (yes or no) Poornima Technical Recruiter 571-568-4157 Email: [email protected] LARGETON INC. 13800 Coppermine Rd, Herndon, VA 20171 Disclaimer: If you are not interested in receiving our e-mails.
