The ideal candidate will possess strong backend development skills, specifically in Java, and have experience in creating scalable, maintainable AEM solutions that meet client needs.Key Responsibilities: AEM Development: Develop and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and forms. Implement authoring and publishing workflows and manage content lifecycle. Integrate AEM with third-party tools such as DAM, CRM, and analytics platforms. Java Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java and related frameworks. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and services for AEM integration. Debug and optimize backend code for performance and scalability. Collaboration: Work with UX designers and front-end developers to implement seamless user experiences. Participate in Agile practices such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Testing and Documentation: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality. Document technical specifications, workflows, and architecture.Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: AEM Development: Proficiency with AEM 6.5+ and understanding of AEM architecture. Experience with AEM components, HTL (Sightly), JCR, OSGi configurations, and Sling models. Java Development: Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and related frameworks. Frontend Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks is a plus. Integration: Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs, third-party tools, and cloud services (e.g., AWS or Azure). Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud tools such as Analytics, Target, or Campaign. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build tools such as Maven. Exposure to monitoring and logging solutions like ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience: 4+ years of experience in AEM development. 5+ years of backend development experience with Java.
