Job Title: IT Systems Integration & Support Engineer (Electric Distribution)
Location: San Francisco, CA (TCS)Job Description:
We are seeking an IT Systems Integration & Support Engineer with expertise in system integration, data analysis, and project management for electric distribution networks. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize IT systems, analyze system data, and support the implementation of new technologies.Key Responsibilities:1. System Integration and Support:
Develop documentation and user manuals for system processes and procedures.
Integrate IT systems with electric distribution networks, working closely with engineering and operations teams.
Work with DMS (Distribution Management Systems), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and other related technologies.2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze data from electric distribution systems to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support decision-making.
Develop and maintain performance and reliability reports for monitoring system operations.3. Project Management:
Lead or participate in technology implementation and system upgrade projects.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to meet project objectives and timelines.Essential Skills:
Hands-on experience with DMS, SCADA, and electric distribution network integration.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills to support operational decision-making.
Ability to document system processes and procedures clearly.
Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination.Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with grid modernization and smart grid technologies.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
