The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and database management, with a strong understanding of software engineering best practices and security principles.Key Responsibilities: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks. Design and implement RESTful APIs and WebSocket solutions for real-time applications. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with server-side logic. Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis for efficient data storage and retrieval. Optimize application performance, security, and scalability. Implement asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices-based solutions. Utilize Docker and AWS services to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure. Enforce software engineering best practices (design patterns, code reviews, unit and integration testing). Ensure data privacy and cybersecurity measures are incorporated into applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Node.js applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope. Stay up to date with the latest Node.js frameworks, tools, and industry trends. Provide technical documentation and mentor junior developers.Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript. Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and WebSocket implementation. Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis. Proficiency in AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) and Docker for containerized deployment. Deep understanding of asynchronous development and event-driven architecture. Strong grasp of software engineering best practices (code reviews, testing, CI/CD). Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs into applications. Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles. Experience implementing test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.
