Title: Oracle Apex Developer Location: Atlanta, Georgia Description: Oracle Apex Developer Position Georgia DPH IT (SendSS) is requesting a contract Apex developer position to work on the Emerging Infections Program (EIP) SendSS module. The EIP module has matured over the past 8 years to become a robust tool for the program and some fairly extensive modifications need to be made to manage additional workflows and data capturing for specific conditions. Since SendSS is going through a modernization, the program and SendSS have agreed at this time to not make the changes in legacy SendSS and to reengineer the EIP suite of modules in the new Oracle Apex framework. It is envisaged that this rewrite and enhancement effort will take about 2 years to accomplish, working alongside the original legacy EIP module developer (SME). The funding is available for this 2-year duration through a grant EIP secured a few months back. EIP ABC's Report Form - Active bacterial core surveillance case report ABCs provides estimates of invasive disease for five pathogens. It collects data related to bacterial isolates and demographic and clinical data. ABCs conducts surveillance for Group A Streptococcus (GAS), Group B Streptococcus (GBS), Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria meningitidis, and Streptococcus pneumoniae. Other supplemental forms are associated with the ABCs - Group A Streptococcus Supplemental form, Group B Streptococcus Supplemental form, and Streptococcus pneumoniae (SPN) Supplemental form. 2. ABC's - NIE, NNS & iEC Report Forms - These forms are used to collect data related to Neonatal Infection Expanded Tracking, Neonatal Sepsis Surveillance, and Neonatal Invasive E.Coli Infection Expanded Tracking. 3. iSA Report Form - The Invasive Staphylococcus Aureus Infection Surveillance Program collects data for describing the incidence and trends of these infections. 4. Viral Module Reporting Form - Three Modules in this application. FLUSurv Module - FluSurv-NET collects data related to influenza-associated hospitalizations. RSVSurv Module - The Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Hospitalization Surveillance Network (RSV-NET) monitors RSV-associated hospitalizations. COVID Module - COVID-NET is part of the Respiratory Virus Hospitalization Surveillance Network, which tracks hospitalizations associated with COVID-19. 5. CDI Module- This module is used to track and monitor cases related to Clostridioides difficile infection.
