More about You A bachelors degree in science, technology, or another relevant academic discipline. Experience with Laboratory Life Science instrumentation, including Potency, PCR, and UPLCs. Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Request & Inventory Systems, and Data Warehouse Systems. Knowledge of cGMP and GCLP operations and practices. An understanding of computer systems validation best practices (GAMP) and 21 CFR Part 11. Minimum 1 3 years of previous experience as a Lab/Medical Technologist or equivalent experience Minimum 1 - 3 years of previous experience in support of LIS interfaces, servers, software applications, hardware, middleware, and computers. Minimum 1 3 years previous end-user and/or support experience with laboratory application. Experienced in resolving customer problems and providing high customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams. Candidate must possess good time management skills and organizational skills. Primary Responsibilities Include: Serve as an expert in life science instrumentation and associated instrument software Respond to day-to-day activities, including Service Now tickets and request Support the documentation of software instrumentation and support the efforts provided by system engineers Perform periodic assessments of previously validated laboratory systems assets, highlighting potential risks and acting proactively to resolve issues Participate and provide support for large cross-functional projects as needed. Be able to work directly with the business to support both new and existing systems Assist with projects and tasks to meet deadlines in support of Andover and Bedford Facilitate and deliver the installation of instruments and software as needed for the Andover and Bedford sites. Assist with reporting for updates to help Lab IT Operations in meeting business objectives. Support Lab in interactions with Vendors in support of instrument or software updates, corrections, or decommission. Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for remote/phone support and on-site Lab IT support. Assist with the launch/implementation of new systems by learning new products, providing input to documentation development, and troubleshooting procedures for all systems.. Provide consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators. Perform on-call duties as needed to provide Monday through Friday support for Andover and Bedford MA.
