Job Title: AWS Administrator Location:Atlanta GA -Remote 6+ months State Client Experience prefers Job Summary: The client is seeking a skilled AWS Administrator to manage and optimize their Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and maintain AWS solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Establish configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS accounts and resources. Review cloud resources, cost drivers, and optimize compute, storage, network, and database services. Monitor and optimize rightsizing, elasticity, and resource utilization for Managed Services clients. Perform patching, backup/restoration, provisioning, firewall configuration, and monitoring. Deploy and manage Amazon EKS clusters, implementing Kubernetes best practices. Manage account containerization, cost allocations, security compliance, and alerts. Utilize AWS Config, AWS CloudTrail, and other tools to ensure compliance and security. Implement monitoring tools and ITSM solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. 10+ years of Cloud Administration experience. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, security, and system administration (Windows/Linux). Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack). Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
