Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead with deep expertise in cloud-native API development and test automation frameworks. This role requires a full-stack engineer with strong DevOps, CI/CD, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in designing scalable REST APIs, implementing automated testing strategies, and driving best practices in modern software engineering. Key Responsibilities: Architect & Develop cloud-native REST APIs with a focus on scalability and security. Lead & Mentor software engineers, promoting best practices in software design and testing. Test Automation Expertise: Implement and enhance test frameworks using Karate, RESTAssured, and service virtualization tools. Develop & Execute unit, integration, component, and scenario tests to ensure robust software delivery. Enhance CI/CD Pipelines by integrating automated testing and security scanning. Implement DevOps Best Practices: Support A/B testing, blue- deployments, feature toggles, and rapid delivery cycles. Collaborate across teams to improve test coverage, release velocity, and production stability. Ensure Code Quality: Participate in peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive testability in design. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in REST API design & cloud-native architectures. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Karate, RESTAssured) and service virtualization tools. DevOps & CI/CD proficiency: Hands-on experience with pipelines, security automation, and cloud deployment strategies. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated security testing, and API reliability practices. Deep understanding of software engineering lifecycle including version control, build processes, and release management. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. Ability to mentor and guide engineers in Agile & DevOps environments. Nice-to-Have Skills: Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or P). Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to AI-driven testing tools.
