Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Python Lead to join our team in New York City, NY. This is an onsite role requiring 100% in-office presence. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Capital Markets and expertise in scripting regression test cases using Python. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Python developers in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks. Develop and execute regression test cases using Python to ensure software stability. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and implement effective testing strategies. Work closely with stakeholders in Capital Markets to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Optimize test automation processes and improve test coverage for trading applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated test scripts and frameworks. Ensure efficient data validation, automation, and reporting mechanisms. Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and Capital Markets. Required Skills & Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in software development and automation testing using Python. Mandatory experience in Capital Markets, working with trading applications, risk management, or financial instruments. Strong expertise in scripting regression test cases using Python. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like PyTest, Selenium, or Robot Framework. Experience with SQL, databases, and data validation techniques. Knowledge of financial instruments, trading workflows, and risk management principles. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Exposure to quantitative analysis and financial modeling. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks is a plus.
