Key Responsibilities: 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions. Expertise in Apache Spark and Databricks, with hands-on experience in building large-scale data processing applications. Proficient in Scala programming and functional programming paradigms. Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and related data services. Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes. Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines and workflows on cloud platforms. Lead the implementation of data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Apache Spark and Databricks. Write efficient, reliable, and reusable code in Scala to process data in a distributed environment. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-performance solutions. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across various datasets. Drive best practices for data architecture, including storage, scalability, and security.
