Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid) Interview: In-person interview required On-site Requirement: 1-2 days per week Near by relocation works but needed f2f interview Must have Recent Client Experience from MA, NH, or RI, Must have CSPO/CBAP 5+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner/Business Analyst. Key Responsibilities Support Agile SDLC (Requirement Definition, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Post-production maintenance). Conduct business systems analysis and process redesign by interacting with internal and external business users to document requirements. Manage Agile requirements, prioritize them, and scope sprints. Use JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for Agile project management. Monitor systems operations, reviewing daily reports, error tickets, and resolving issues. Facilitate JAD sessions, analyze system workflows, and gather detailed user requirements. Apply MOSCOW and other techniques to prioritize user requirements. Assess and understand systemic data requirements for enhancing/changing business processes or systems. Participate in or coordinate testing/validation of system enhancements and fixes, including creating and executing test cases. Use database querying tools (e.g., TOAD) for data validation and reporting. Provide status updates to stakeholders and ensure timely requirement approvals. Prepare system documentation, including business analysis summaries, research reports, and requirements/design documents. Review system change requests and prioritize appropriately. Organize and lead project meetings, creating/disseminating summary/meeting notes and status updates. Analyze and implement changes in response to new State and Federal regulations, recommending system modifications. Review database structure and ensure design supports applications. Prepare data flow diagrams and analyze business needs to determine data flow within the organization. Mentor junior staff on departmental business operations and eligibility systems. Qualifications Expertise in requirements gathering, business planning, data and process analysis, system design, testing, and change management. Proven experience working in Agile projects. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and management. Experience in problem-solving for both business and technical issues and mentoring colleagues. Ability to adapt to changing business processes and operations. CSPO/CBAP or similar certifications preferred. Must be located in MA, NH, or RI, and have recent client experience in these locations. No H1B, OPT, or CPT visa holders . Preferred Skills Experience with SQL and database querying tools (e.g., TOAD). Familiarity with system documentation, requirements elicitation, and creating data flow diagrams. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
