Job Description: Top Required Skills & Years of Experience: 1. 15+ years of Web and client-server application development experience, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support 2. 15 years of experience in MVC framework 3. 15 years of C#.NET experience. First 5 years ASP/.NET is acceptable. Please note, candidates MUST meet the 15 years' experience requirement or the manager will not consider them for the role. Nice to Have Skills: 1. Project work will include: application architecture design and development, development of user stories, quarterly planning strategies, product roadmaps, and other key strategic deliverables; selection and review of on premise and cloud tools and technology; code reviews and work item reviews to ensure that they meet the department's technical objectives and are compliant with required security requirements; and in-the-weeds development using a variety of languages and tools. Brief Project Description: This is a contract position needed for the development of critical priority modernization projects effort in the Division of Unemployment Insurance. Candidates will play an integral role in providing technical strategy and contractual oversight on work performed by teams as part of modernization development effort. Project work will include: application architecture design and development, development of user stories, quarterly planning strategies, product roadmaps, and other key strategic deliverables; selection and review of on premis and cloud tools and technology; code reviews and work item reviews to ensure that they meet the department's technical objectives and are compliant with required security requirements; and in-the-weeds development using a variety of languages and tools.
