The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Java, Angular, and Gherkin-style testing. Experience in an Agile environment and the product lifecycle is crucial. Bonus points for knowledge in AWS, Jenkins, and modern software development tools. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications within a fast-paced Agile environment. Implement and support front-end solutions using Angular. Write and maintain Gherkin-style automated test scripts. Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from planning and design to development and deployment. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. Leverage experience with AWS and Jenkins to optimize and streamline deployment and continuous integration processes. Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience as a Java Developer, with at least 2 years in Gherkin-style automated testing. Strong experience with Angular for front-end development. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle development. Prior experience working at Capital One, or in a similar financial services environment. Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: Experience with AWS cloud services and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management. Familiarity with streaming technologies.
