This role works within the technology QA team alongside data engineers, validating data in multiple formats (JSON, XML, CSV, RDF) across internal systems. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to enable automated testing and maintain data integrity. Develop and execute test plans for ETL processes, databases, reports, and APIs. Create scripts to automate data quality testing in data lakehouse and warehouse environments. Conduct functional, end-to-end, and exploratory testing, covering edge cases. Support UI testing in conjunction with backend data validation. Communicate test results and quality assurance updates to stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. 4+ years in QA Automation or SDET roles, testing front-end and back-end components. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and API testing (Postman or similar tools). Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Familiarity with Pandas/PySpark and notebook environments (Databricks, Jupyter). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in large data environments. Excellent communication skills, including technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
