Job Description:
The Senior IT Technical Analyst will play a key role in managing and enhancing the Dynamics 365 Field Service platform for Allegion. This position requires a candidate with strong technical expertise in configuring, customizing, and supporting Dynamics 365 CE Field Service, as well as a deep understanding of the business processes that the platform supports. You will collaborate with business analysts, functional leads, and other IT teams to ensure solutions are effectively designed, implemented, and deployed to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of Dynamics 365 Field Service ongoing implementation and enhancement.

Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional ERP IT teams to analyze business requirements and deliver solutions within the DevOps framework.

Customize and configure Dynamics 365 Field Service to meet business needs, including configuring entities, forms, workflows, and business rules.

Develop and deploy custom plugins, workflows, Power Automate Flows, and scripts to extend Dynamics 365 Field Service functionality.

Participate in cross-functional design sessions for integrations between Dynamics 365 Field Service and other systems (e.g., Salesforce, FinOps, third-party apps).

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, architectural guidelines, and best practices for D365 Field Service applications.

Stay informed on industry trends related to field service management and Microsoft Dynamics 365, proactively recommending improvements and optimizations.

Manage ongoing support, maintenance, and new feature deployment for D365 Field Service, including software updates.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Technical Analyst or Developer with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service.

Proficiency in configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service, including the Mobile app.

Strong experience with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) to extend Dynamics 365 Field Service.

Experience integrating third-party applications using APIs, web services, and middleware.

Experience with Dynamics 365 Field Service integrated with FinOps is a major plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with business partners and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Core Skills:

CE & Field Service Expertise: While not necessarily a heavy development role, the ideal candidate should have experience reviewing code, setting design guidelines, and leading testing efforts.

UAT Leadership: Ability to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, including collaborating with business stakeholders and testers to ensure the solution meets requirements.

Power Platform Proficiency: Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and similar technologies is essential.

Business Collaboration: Capable of identifying gaps in functionality or processes and working with the team to bridge them.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated experience in solving complex problems and effectively communicating solutions.

Decision-Making Rationale: Ability to explain why certain technologies or approaches were chosen for past projects, and how these decisions addressed specific business challenges.
