CareFirst- BCBS Title: Ab Initio Developer (only one resume) Eligibility: USC/ GC/ GC-EAD Location: Candidates only from DC, MD, VA, WV Type: Remote but 1 meeting onsite in Reston, VA per month. must Duration: 6+ months Rate:$75/hr Ab Initio Developer Our client, a premier Federal Healthcare organization has an urgent need for an Ab Initio Developer to provide hands-on work designing and implementing data integration solutions for data warehouse and business intelligence systems. Responsibilities include: 1) Work with Business Analysts and Product team to gather data requirements 2) Design and Build a CDC pipeline to move the data into Cloudera Hadoop platform 3) Transform the data to create a consumable data layer for various application uses 4) Support Data pipeline with bug fixes, and additional enhancements 5) Document Technical design , Operational Runbook etc This position is a 12 month PLUS contract opportunity with our client. They do meeting monthly in their Reston VA office, otherwise this is a remote position. Required Skills - Total of 10+ Years of IT Experience predominantly in Data Integration/ Data Warehouse area - Must have 8 years of Ab Initio ETL Design and Development experience. - Must have tech stack: (1) AWS Tech Stack (Glue, Aurora Postgress, RedShift, S3) (2) Change Data Capture (CDC) (3) Hive, Cloudera/Hadoop Ecosystem - Must have experience within the Healthcare Payor industry - Big Plus: CI/CD Jenkins / DevOps knowledge - Sound understanding of SQL and ability to write well performing SQL queries - Good knowledge of OLTP and OLAP data models and other data warehouse fundamentals - Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices, ability to write reusable code components - Ability to unit test the code thoroughly and to troubleshoot issues in production environments - Must have some working experience with Unix/Linux scripting - Must be able to work independently and support other junior developers as needed - Some Java development experience is nice to have - Knowledge of Agile Development practices is required -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment sthree information technology green card Maryland Virginia West Virginia Ab Initio Developer [email protected] |
