Title: System Architect Duration: Contract-to-hire Location: Oakland or San Diego, CA (Remote with travel possible) Note : Need best candidate with DL ,VISA AND LINKEDIN. Skills & Duties: GIS Enterprise Systems: Design, implement, assess, and support GIS enterprise systems, preferably in the utility industry. System Architecture & Cloud Environments: Expertise in private cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, including VMware ESXi/vSphere, Citrix Hypervisor, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure). Network & Security: Hands-on experience with VLANs, IAM (Identity and Access Management), DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers (F5 BIG-IP, NGINX, Citrix ADC), and high availability (clustering, failover, disaster recovery). Database & Storage: Experience with enterprise geodatabases, storage repositories, batch jobs, scheduled processes, automated tasks, replication. GPU Technologies: Knowledge of NVIDIA, AMD GPUs and integration into enterprise systems. GIS & Esri Expertise: Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Monitor. DevOps & Automation: Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Azure DevOps. Integration Tools: Experience with Kafka, Boomi, MuleSoft. Soft Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. Ability to lead technical discussions, document solutions, and mentor teams. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 11-16 years in enterprise system consulting and large-scale technology projects. 6-11 years in enterprise GIS system design & architecture. Strong background in Esri GIS products, enterprise security solutions, and system monitoring tools (Dynatrace, SolarWinds). Certifications: At least one from TOGAF, Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, IBM, Oracle, Esri (or ability to obtain within 12 months). looking for a contract-to-hire resource who can work remotely but may need to travel initially.
