Please forward related profiles to [email protected] / 614-382-8920 Infrastructure Program Manager - Plano, TX - Onsite JD: Must have network and infrastructure background:o Be conversant in how a network and infrastructure are delivered: Understand circuit order (non-DIA) processing with such vendors as ATT, Comcast, and others. Understand what a DMARC is and what a last mile provider (LMP) is and how this infrastructure works. Understand delivery and setup of a new circuit and how it is connected and turned up. Understand what a router is and where it is placed in the infrastructure.o Understand basic network equipment and its uses (i.e., core and UA switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, WAPs, servers) and how it all fits in the infrastructure.o Understand network diagrams and the flow of connections. Understand basic Datacenter (DC) concepts:o How DC operations work (general)o Fiber/copper connectionso Equipment racks (e.g., whether there is enough space in a rack, whether new racks will be needed)o Power requirements (e.g., adding new equipment, whether there is enough power)o HVAC (e.g., knowing the questions to ask to support new equipment) Be a United States Citizen and must be able to pass a background check. Expertise in Microsoft Project Have an associate degree or bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related discipline (or equivalent work experience). The candidate must have excellent client interfacing skills, vendor/third-party resources, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management. They should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours and weekends a must) to successfully interact and communicate on a global level) if needed. 8+ years managing projects. Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus. Must have strong analytical skills. Continuous process improvement mindset. Experience with managing program/project financial estimates and ongoing financial forecasting of expenditures.
