Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration to ensure high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain advanced test automation scripts using Playwright for web applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Create reusable components and libraries within the Playwright framework to optimize and scale automation efforts. Conduct cross-browser testing using Playwright to ensure application compatibility across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Utilize Playwrights capabilities to test applications in multiple environments, including development, staging, and production. Debug and resolve test failures by analyzing logs, screenshots, and video recordings generated by Playwright. Mentor team members on Playwright best practices, including selectors, test stability, and troubleshooting. Document automation processes, including framework structure, troubleshooting guides, and best practices. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test cases suitable for automation. Develop and execute API test cases using Postman and Rest Assured to validate backend services. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar to ensure rapid feedback on application quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test automation scripts and frameworks. Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with project requirements. Required Skills: Proven expertise with Playwright as the primary tool for end-to-end test automation. Proficiency in Postman for API testing, including collection creation, scripting, and environment management. Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for automating API validations in Java. Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or equivalent. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience in performance and load testing. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
