Sr.  Data Scientist with Financials Industry exp (Hybrid Position) Visa- Only USC/GC or H4-EAD 3-6+ months (Hybrid Position) Locals/Driving distance to Chicago, IL Only   Skills/Experience needed: Experience working in financial industry and trading systems 7+ years of experience as Data Analyst/Scientist Strong experience with SaaS, Snowflake database, AWS and its services. Experience in developing automation for big data, including data ingestion, processing, mapping, cleansing & migration. Proficient in object-oriented programming and principles. Expertise in REST API, SQL queries, data pipelines, and scripts handling large datasets. Experience in developing and executing automated scripts using Python (with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.), and R to ensure data accuracy, and integrity. In-depth knowledge of pre- and post-Trade TCA, SEC & FINRA rule compliance, liquidity risk, MiFID II, and PRIIPs analytics is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), test engineering principles, and Agile methodologies.
