Our client, a premier Federal Healthcare organization has an urgent need for an Ab Initio Developer to provide hands-on work designing and implementing data integration solutions for data warehouse and business intelligence systems. This position is currently 100% remote, however, our client has plans to return to their Reston VA office in the near future (the selected candidate must be available/open to being onsite). Location: 1x per month in Reston. Local candidate is first preference, as close to DMV as secondary option, CST third. Drivable distance is most ideal to accommodate monthly meetings. 1) Work with Business Analysts and Product team to gather data requirements 2) Design and Build a CDC pipeline to move the data into Cloudera Hadoop platform 3) Transform the data to create a consumable data layer for various application uses 4) Support Data pipeline with bug fixes, and additional enhancements 5) Document Technical design , Operational Runbook etc Total of 10+ Years of IT Experience predominantly in Data Integration/ Data Warehouse area Must have 8 years of ETL Design and Development experience using Ab Initio 3+ years of Hadoop / Cloudera DWH support Must have: DB2, Unix and SQL Big Plus: CI/CD Jenkins / DevOps knowledge At least one project implementation of AbInitio CDC (Change Data Capture) in a Data Integration/ETL project Working knowledge of HDFS, Hive, Impala and other related Hadoop technologies Sound understanding of SQL and ability to write well performing SQL queries Good knowledge of OLTP and OLAP data models and other data warehouse fundamentals Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices, ability to write reusable code components Ability to unit test the code thoroughly and to troubleshoot issues in production environments Must have some working experience with Unix/Linux scripting Must be able to work independently and support other junior developers as needed Some Java development experience is nice to have Knowledge of Agile Development practices is required | Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology green card Virginia ab nito developer with recent healthcare payer:: usc::gc [email protected] |
