From: shrasti singh, vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - JOB TITLE: Senior Application Developer (x2) LOCATION: Hybrid - Anchorage, AK Onsite 20% / Offsite 80% DURATION: 6+ months SCOPE OF DUTIES: The primary goal of this work is to modernize client's Enterprise GIS (geographic information system). The selected vendor will work closely with cient staff to bring the existing GIS technology components up to modern standards. Modernization will involve, migrations, upgrades, and application redevelopment. Vendor should be knowledgeable with FME, ArcGIS, Oracle to SQL data migrations and other components of a modern GIS system. Vendor will provide recommendations and troubleshooting solutions over the course of the project. TYPICAL WORK PERFORMED: > Designs or assists in the design of applications including mobile applications. > Creates, and/or modifies existing applications. > Plans, prepares & analyzes unit tests to detect technical or logic errors. > Develops test data. Tests modules and analyzes results. Verifies validity of new or modified systems. > Analyzes tasks and provides accurate estimates for level of effort required to complete. > Assists, reviews, and provides recommendations on functional and technical requirement specifications. > Assists with data conversion. > Assists with the acquisition of application software and hardware. > Contacts vendors regarding services, training, and support. > Troubleshoots and develops solutions for systems. > Addresses complex problems and describes solutions graphically. > Prepares clear, concise reports for final review. > Documents modules and applications. > Participates in meetings or discussion groups. > Interacts with MOAs technical staff. > Provide general commercially available off the shelf application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. > Work closely with business analysts to provide solutions Keywords: Alaska Senior Application Developer (x2) [email protected] |
