Manage one or more cross-functional projects/engagements of medium to high complexity. Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Work from detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports. Facilitate standard process, procedures, and controls. Attend project/engagement meetings and is responsible for project task tracking. Communicate to internal and external program stakeholders. Provide executive reporting of program status. Essential Skills: The Program Manager provides governance and oversight of the purpose and status of the projects in a program and uses this oversight to support project-level activity. This role is critical for ensuring that the program goals are met by providing a decision-making capacity that cannot be achieved at the individual project level, by providing the project manager(s) with a program perspective when required or as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving project issues that have program-level impacts. Desirable Skills: Must have network and infrastructure background: Be conversant in how a network and infrastructure are delivered: Understand circuit order (non-DIA) processing with such vendors as ATT, Comcast, and others. Understand what a DMARC is and what a last mile provider (LMP) is and how this infrastructure works. Understand delivery and setup of a new circuit and how it is connected and turned up. Understand what a router is and where it is placed in the infrastructure. Understand basic network equipment and its uses (i.e., core and UA switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, WAPs, servers) and how it all fits in the infrastructure. Understand network diagrams and the flow of connections. Understand basic Datacenter (DC) concepts: How DC operations work (general)o Fiber/copper connections Equipment racks (e.g., whether there is enough space in a rack, whether new racks will be needed) Power requirements (e.g., adding new equipment, whether there is enough power) HVAC (e.g., knowing the questions to ask to support new equipment) Be a United States Citizen and must be able to pass a background check. Expertise in Microsoft Project Have an associate degree or bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related discipline (or equivalent work experience). The candidate must have excellent client interfacing skills, vendor/third-party resources, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management. They should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours and weekends a must) to successfully interact and communicate on a global level) if needed. 8+ years managing projects. Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus. Must have strong analytical skills. Continuous process improvement mindset. Experience with managing program/project financial estimates and ongoing financial forecasting of expenditures. Industry Certifications in PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master) are strongly preferred, technical certifications such as CCNA are a plus.
