Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Develop and maintain database scripts, procedures, and related documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions aligned with project goals. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for database systems. Monitor database systems for performance and capacity, addressing issues proactively. Support database migrations, upgrades, and patches as required. Leverage WebLogic expertise (if applicable) to support application server environments. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, with expertise in SQL Server database administration. Hands-on experience in database architecture, backup/recovery, and high availability solutions. Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting. Experience with database migrations and working in carve-out or similar transitional projects is a plus. Familiarity with WebLogic application server administration is a strong advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
