Job Title: Middleware Administrator -Webshere Atlanta GA -Onsite Long Term Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Middleware Administrator to manage builds, deployments, patching, maintenance, automation (scripting), troubleshooting, and certificate management for our Middleware platform and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Network Security, Application Development, Project Management, and Server Administration teams (Linux & Windows) to ensure seamless operation and security compliance.Key Responsibilities: Administer IBM WebSphere Application Server (V7, V8, V8.5, 9.0), WebLogic, Tomcat, IIS, and Apache HTTP Server. Perform builds, deployments, patching, maintenance, and security audits for middleware environments. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Power, scripting, JACL, JYTHON, and YAML. Implement CI/CD pipelines and work with Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, and Subversion. Support Linux/Unix environments (CentOS, RHEL, SLES, AIX) and ensure system security. Manage SSL/TLS certificates using OpenSSL, Keytool, and other security protocols. Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting and support, including on-call and weekend support as needed. Collaborate on incident and change management processes to align with IT policies. Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Citrix Load Balancers, Edge servers, and microservices technologies. Document complex designs, create process documentation, and provide internal team training.Qualifications & Skills: 3+ years of experience with Middleware Administration in IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, IIS. Experience in automating deployments and configurations using scripting languages and CI/CD tools. Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, and AIX operating systems. Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-based environments. Experience in SSL certificate management, security protocols, and patching middleware environments. Familiarity with IBM COTS applications like Maximo, Connect Direct, and eClient is a plus.
