Role: Senior .NET Developer with SharePoint experience Location: Charlotte - Hybrid 3 days/week Duration: 12+ months VISA: Only USC and GC profiles! Must have Banking experience Job Summary Barings Global Technology & Operations department is seeking a.NET Developer with SharePoint experience to join its Corporate Systems team. As a member of the team, the associate will be responsible for developing .NET applications and SharePoint Online sites, integrations and custom solutions, as well as administering SharePoint Online. The Developer will be responsible for all phases of the development lifecycle and will help manage the product backlog, feature prioritization process, and allocation of SharePoint developer resources. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background designing, coding, and maintaining .NET applications. The candidates should have recent experience in full stack development in a .NET C#, ASP.NET MVC environment with knowledge of Cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure a plus. The ideal candidates should have working knowledge of system integration and be comfortable using, building and maintaining RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate will understand the SharePoint online platform as well as key integrations and capabilities available within the platform. The candidate will perform the necessary planning and tasks to design and develop solutions along with customizations for and maintenance of existing solutions. A successful candidate will be proficient in troubleshooting issues in a production environment and providing guidance to supporting team members. The Developer must be able to coordinate responsibilities across multiple teams and exhibit strong communication skills. This position requires the candidate to work closely with SharePoint users across the firm and, in particular, key client stakeholders and technology leaders. Core Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years experience as a developer in .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, HTML, JavaScript, SQL Server, REST APIs 5+ or more years of experience in technical analysis and design, preferably within a consulting environment or large enterprise Strong knowledge working within the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of ORMs like Dapper or EF Core Working Knowledge of SharePoint administration, development, and integrations. Excellent Communication skills.
