Must have data guard or Golden Gate Job Overview: Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (Level 4) with 15+ years of expertise in Oracle database engineering and SQL performance tuning . This role requires deep technical proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture, RAC, ASM, Active Data Guard, and GoldenGate technologies . The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a senior Oracle DBA, ensuring imal performance and reliability of large-scale Oracle database systems. Provide SQL performance tuning expertise, imizing database queries and system performance. Maintain a deep understanding of Oracle Database Architecture, including multi-tenancy architecture. Troubleshoot and manage Oracle RAC, ASM, and Active Data Guard technologies. Execute and oversee RAC Database Performance and SQL tuning efforts. Manage Oracle database installations, patching, and troubleshooting RAC-related issues. Work with GoldenGate for data replication and integration. Proactively identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks and maintain best practices. Stay ahead of emerging technologies and continuously enhance technical skills. Required Qualifications: 15+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with a strong focus on SQL performance tuning . In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture and multi-tenancy models . Expertise in RAC, ASM, Active Data Guard , and high-availability database solutions. Hands-on experience with GoldenGate for data replication. Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of resolving complex installation and database issues. Ability to work under pressure, remain calm, and make quick, sound technical decisions. Strong desire to learn and ad new technologies.
