From: vishal, sibitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: IAM Ping Engineer Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Contract] Experience Required: 12+ Years Job Description: We are seeking multiple highly skilled Senior Ping Engineers with a minimum of 12 years of experience to support two major application migration projects: Migration from Siteminder to Ping Federate for Single Sign-On (SSO) Migration from Symantec to Ping ID for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in identity and access management (IAM), particularly in migrating authentication and authorization systems. They should possess deep technical expertise in Ping Federate, Ping ID, and policy adapters while demonstrating strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and application owners. Key Responsibilities: Lead the migration efforts from Siteminder to Ping Federate for SSO. Oversee the transition from Symantec to Ping ID for MFA, ensuring minimal disruption. Design, implement, and configure policy adapters to align with business and security requirements. Work closely with application owners to understand dependencies, document requirements, and ensure smooth integration. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise throughout the migration process. Conduct security and compliance assessments to ensure all IAM solutions align with industry standards and best practices. Develop and maintain migration documentation, including architecture diagrams, process flows, and user guides. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, network, and development teams, to enhance IAM solutions. Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline identity management workflows. Monitor and optimize the performance of IAM solutions post-migration. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of experience in identity and access management (IAM). Strong expertise in Ping Identity Suite (Ping Federate, Ping ID, PingAccess, PingDirectory, etc.). Hands-on experience with migrating authentication systems, particularly from Siteminder to Ping Federate and Symantec to Ping ID. Proficiency in configuring and managing policy adapters. Solid understanding of OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and LDAP protocols. Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and identity federation. Familiarity with cloud-based authentication solutions and integrations. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and application owners daily. Knowledge of IAM security standards and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DevOps tools and automation scripting (e.g., Python, Power, Terraform). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
