Senior Business Intelligence Lead Opportunity Onsite in Houston, TX Location: Houston, TX (4 days onsite, alternating between Friedkin Corporate Campus & Gulf States Toyota VPC) Role: Senior Business Intelligence Lead Contract role : 12+ Months Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. Strong leadership background with experience guiding teams and cross-functional initiatives. Expertise in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes. Ability to develop compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred certifications: Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent. Position Responsibilities: Define and implement best practices for data visualization and reporting. Lead the development of strategic reporting and visualization assets for VPC & USAL initiatives. Design and maintain sophisticated reports and dashboards. Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and drive actionable insights. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough validation and testing. Provide training and support to business users on BI tools. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BI technology. Manage and prioritize BI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals. Additional Information: Candidates must be in Texas or willing to relocate by Day 1. This is a key leadership role, with future opportunities to build out a team.
