This role requires extensive data migration experience, particularly in healthcare EHR systems like Cerner Millennium, Dentrix, CareTracker, and RLDatix Risk Module. Key Responsibilities: Data Migration & Workflow Integration (40%) Plan, assess, cleanse, and map data to ensure compatibility with the new system. Design and implement workflows that integrate seamlessly with existing systems. Engage stakeholders for requirements gathering and document all migration phases. Compliance & Data Integrity (10%) Ensure system design adheres to HHSC standards. Establish validation and auditing processes to maintain post-migration data integrity. Testing & Debugging (25%) Develop and execute unit test scripts and manage test scenarios. Analyze test results, debug issues, and ensure system reliability. Stakeholder Communication (15%) Provide regular updates on migration progress to project stakeholders. Use ticketing systems for problem resolution and prepare project documentation. Post-Migration Support & Training (10%) Train end-users and prepare comprehensive system documentation. Recommend strategies for optimizing system performance. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in database management and data migration within healthcare EHR systems (e.g., Cerner Millennium). Expertise in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Excel, Word, Visio for data migration. Strong business analysis skills, including process automation and system functionality enhancements. Experience in documenting business processes, conducting meetings with SMEs, and standardizing workflows. Proven ability to resolve complex data-related issues using analytical skills. Strong oral and written communication skills for project documentation and stakeholder engagement. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders. Knowledge of IT industry trends and architectural principles relevant to infrastructure and information systems. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with SaaS-based EHR systems and cloud data migrations. Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates. Familiarity with software architecture and infrastructure components.
