Role: Integrations Developer (Mulesoft and AWS GLUE) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract About the Role: One of our clients needs to source a candidate for a Sr. MuleSoft Developer Contractor to support the Intellectual Property Management Solution (IPMS) implementation. IPMS implementation program will be replacing its current Patent Tracking System with Wellspring. The new system will allow UC to manage multiple aspects of intellectual property assets, including invention disclosures, patent portfolios, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights, as well as the operational legal activities associated with patent prosecution, partnerships, agreements and licensing. This will allow an increase in licensing potential with targeted marketing and CRM tools to drive more revenue. Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer with expertise in MuleSoft and AWS Glue to design, build, and implement advanced integration solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of data integration, API development, and SQL to ensure seamless data connectivity across systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions that meet business needs. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (And Other Duties As Assigned) Solution Design: Collaborate with architects and analysts to create integration solutions that align with system requirements and architectural principles. MuleSoft Technology: Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and workflows using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Mule ESB to connect diverse systems, including databases and cloud platforms. AWS Glue Integration: Implement ETL pipelines and data workflows using AWS Glue to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis. API Management: Create, manage, and secure APIs, ensuring adherence to best practices in API design, versioning, and monitoring. Data Analysis & Transformation: Design and implement data transformation and orchestration logic to support system integrations, migrations, and data synchronization. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor integration performance and proactively address issues. Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure solution reliability. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, workflows, and APIs to support team knowledge sharing and operational consistency. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks while ensuring integration solutions remain scalable and efficient. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and analysts to deliver high-quality integration solutions aligned with organizational goals. Required Qualification Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). MuleSoft Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of integration development experience, including 3+ years with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 3/4, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager). AWS Glue Proficiency: Hands-on experience developing data pipelines and workflows in AWS Glue. SQL Skills: Strong SQL expertise with the ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets effectively. Integration Knowledge: Solid understanding of integration patterns, error handling, and data transformation techniques. API Development: Experience in RESTful API design and SOAP services.
