Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools. Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and interactive UI elements. Knowledge of responsive web and mobile design principles. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts (coding skills are a plus but not required). Experience working in highly collaborative environments with cross-functional teams. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design solutions. Job Responsibilities: Create a brand identity (including logos) that aligns with LADWPs organizational guidelines. Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to understand user needs and behaviors. Develop and enforce UI/UX design standards across multiple platforms, including digital media, print, and presentations. Make innovative and user-friendly design decisions in collaboration with LADWP stakeholders, including designers, engineers, researchers, and copywriters. Expand and refine LADWPs design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products. Communicate design concepts, page flows, animations, and interactive elements to stakeholders and development teams. Ensure seamless integration of LADWPs brand identity, visuals, and tone of voice into all digital communications, including email campaigns and seasonal promotions. Document UI/UX design processes and guidelines, ensuring smooth implementation by the engineering team. Present design ideas, prototypes, and final concepts to leadership, stakeholders, and peers. Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborative workshops to translate complex requirements into elegant design solutions.
