The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for leading the architecture and deployment of cloud-based systems to support telecom operations and services. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tailored to the telecom domain. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud architectures. Lead the implementation of GCP services such as Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Kubernetes Engine, and AI/ML tools. Define and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, and compliance in alignment with telecom industry standards. Optimize telecom workflows and processes using GCP tools and services, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and DevOps teams. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to GCP infrastructure and applications. Stay updated with the latest GCP features and technologies to drive innovation in the telecom domain. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing telecom systems. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 11 years of total experience, with significant expertise in the Telecom domain. Proven experience as a GCP Architect, with a strong portfolio of cloud solutions designed and implemented for telecom use cases. In-depth knowledge of GCP services and tools, including but not limited to: Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions IAM, Networking, and Security Strong understanding of telecom-specific use cases such as network optimization, billing systems, customer management, and data analytics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform). Expertise in cloud security best practices and compliance standards relevant to the telecom industry. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: GCP Professional Certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer). Experience with telecom OSS/BSS systems. Knowledge of 5G technologies and their integration with cloud platforms. Familiarity with AI/ML tools on GCP for predictive analytics and automation.
