Role: Lead Azure DevOps Location : (Remote) Collierville, TN 38017 Contract: 9 month contract Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to develop and manage complex Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) pipelines for a mobile API ecosystem. The ideal candidate will work closely with client full-time employees (FTEs) to implement and deliver DevOps changes in a highly integrated mobile backend environment. This role requires deep expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub Actions, and Azure services such as Functions, API Gateway, and more. Experience with AirWatch Workspaces is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps pipelines for a mobile API ecosystem. Collaborate with client FTEs, developers, and architects to deliver DevOps changes efficiently. Manage source control, build, release, and deployment automation using Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Actions. Integrate ADO with GitHub and other Azure services, such as Functions and API Gateway. Ensure security best practices for DevOps automation, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure. Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor mobile backend environments for performance and reliability. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies using tools such as Terraform or ARM templates. Work with cross-functional teams to enable scalability, automation, and continuous improvement. Document processes and workflows, providing technical guidance and best practices. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management. Strong experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) ecosystem and GitHub Actions. Proficiency in Azure services including Functions, API Gateway, and related cloud infrastructure. Hands-on experience integrating ADO with GitHub and other third-party services. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS). Strong understanding of security best practices in DevOps (e.g., SAST, DAST, and secure CI/CD). Familiarity with AirWatch Workspaces is a plus. Strong scripting skills (Power, Bash, Python, or similar). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mobile backend development and API security. Knowledge of serverless architecture and event-driven DevOps models. Familiarity with enterprise-scale DevOps automation and best practices.
